What You’ll Do:​

Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs:​​

• Tackle complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on ag and lawn/garden equipment

• Use diagnostic tools and technical resources to identify root causes and solutions

• Perform quality repairs independently and efficiently with minimal rework

 

Customer Communication & Support:​​

• Professionally communicate findings and recommendations to customers and coworkers

• Identify additional service needs during repairs and provide value-added suggestions

• Represent Johnson Tractor with a high level of professionalism and integrity

​

Documentation & Collaboration:​

• Document time, parts, and repairs accurately to support billing and warranty work

• Work closely with the parts team and service office to streamline workflow

• Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with evolving equipment and technologies

What We’re Looking For:​

• 3+ years of hands-on technician experience (ag equipment preferred)

• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills

• Comfort using diagnostic software and digital tools

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Valid driver’s license required; CDL or ability to obtain is a plus

• Certifications or OEM training (Case IH, Kubota, etc.) are highly valued

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-time 

• Location: Rochelle, IL

• Pay Range: Equivalent to $70,000–$100,000 annually, paid hourly (final rate based on experience, certifications, and skill level).
